Moodle Fast Track Workshops: Request Form - Spring Break

Are you starting to panic because you've realized you're not prepared to teach using PolyLearn Moodle in Spring quarter? Blackboard will no longer be available for teaching at Cal Poly after Winter quarter 2012. It's imperative to get "on board" with PolyLearn! Come and devote three hours of your time to "come up to speed" moodling in a Moodle Fast Track workshop during Spring break!

Instructors: Tonia Malone and Luanne Fose, Instructional Designers, ITS / CTL

* Workshop space is limited. First come, first served. Select from a morning or afternoon three-hour session.

MORNING SESSIONS:
Day: Pick one morning from Monday - Friday of March 19-23, 2012 (Spring Break)
Time: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Location: Kennedy Library, Room 111-B (Windows Computer Lab)
Instructor: Tonia Malone

  • 1st Hour: Introduction to PolyLearn Moodle - Learn the basics.
  • 2nd Hour: Effective Course Design in PolyLearn - Re-think your course design in Moodle to match your pedagogy.
  • 3rd Hour: Transferring Your Files from Blackboard to PolyLearn Moodle - Learn the tricks to make the transition easier.

AFTERNOON SESSIONS:
Day: Pick one afternoon from Monday - Friday of March 19-23, 2012 (Spring Break)
Time: 1:00 - 4:00 PM
Location: Kennedy Library, Room 216-A (Macintosh Computer Lab)
Instructor: Luanne Fose
